Homely environment

We are a small homely nursery, welcoming children from 6 weeks to 2 years, and can accommodate up to 10 children per day.

The nursery has separate rooms for different aspects of care, and a contained kitchen where the team prepare fresh meals and healthy snacks, according to your child's development.

We are situated in a quiet, private road the nursery is adjacent to the owners own home.

Staffing

Our experienced staffing team are qualified to a high standard. All staff are CRB checked our staff turn over is low and we pride ourselves on maintaining a close knit, dedicated team, who are always happy to help with any queries or concerns.

Parents / Carers

When a child enters the nursery for the first time we endeavour to make the transition as easy as possible for both parent and child. Pre-start visits are arranged up to a month in advance, plus parents / carers are welcomed into the environment to complete a child's profile allowing us to understand the child's individual needs.

Every child has a daily 'Teddy sheet' which provides parents with written feedback about their child's day. This is also enhanced by verbal feedback at the end of each day.

The team carry out regular observation in order to meet children's individual needs, and the early years foundation stage requirements, which recognises that all 0 - 5 year olds have a need to develop and learn through interaction with people and exploration of the world around them.

Children's progress and experiences are recorded using photographs, written notes and individual tracker books. Every child receives a tracker book when joining the nursery which track their journey until the age of 5.

We welcome all families and provide care for children with extra developmental, cultural and dietary needs.
